Chelsea Barracks

The original Chelsea Barracks were built in 1862 and demolished in 1960 to make way for 2 tower blocks which housed four companies from the Guards Regiment. The site was vacated in 2008 and plans to redevelop the area for housing began.

The redevelopmentof the 12.8-acresiteincludes:

  • 448 residential units including 123 affordable units
  • 7 garden squares
  • Public sports facility with a swimming pool
  • Spa
  • Medical centre
  • Community centre
  • Local convenience shops
  • 5 acres of public squares, streets and gardens
  • 100 new trees
  • Children’s play space

Atlantic were tasked with PhaseOneof the project. The three blocks that makeupthis phasecontain 74 apartments that range in size from 1 to 6 bedrooms.The scope of works included the design and installation of:

  • Bespoke Skirting
  • Ironmongery
  • Hi Gloss Pre-Lacquered Doors
