80 New Bond Street

80 New Bond Street is a commercial development located in the heart of London at Oxford Street.

This is a mixed scheme which incorporates the demolition of key features including an existing reinforced concrete core with the infill re-cast back into a retained wall, the stitch drilling and wire sawing of an existing 1980’s 3.9m deep car stacker and the demolition of a 120m2 1200mm deep RC beam on the 1st floor which requires intricate temporary works to jack and transfer the load of the existing frame onto the new slanted steel columns creating a double head height entrance.

The scheme also includes all RC sub and superstructure works including internal drainage and sewer diversion works, underpinning, new foundations and composite metal decking toppings in line with the new structural steel frame and precast concrete core erection.
